Our story

W4E came to life the 14th of April 2010, but our research on wave energy dates back to 2005. From then on, continuous studies, attendance at international workshops, collaborations with international research centers (University of Edinburgh and EMEC European Marine Energy Center in Orkneys Islands), have contributed to develop the expertise of W4E in the wave energy field.

Our DNA

Our passion for technology, research, water and innovation is pushing us to address one of the most important problems for the future of our world. Sustainable energy supply is at the centre of the world strategy agenda for the next decades and our ability to answer this challenge will be crucial for the future generations. We, in W4E, have decide to contribute through what we call “the blue way”. Starting in 2005, we have put great efforts in studying and testing our solutions, in making them reliable and sustainable and in causing a null impact on the surrounding marine environment.

Our future

Our future is to improve the present. With this in mind, the team of W4E will always search for new and more efficient solutions for the marine energy technology, expanding its network, expertise and world presence.
In our future we see the world more green, green out of the blue.
