Dr. Giovanni Bracco, Chief Technical Officer
Giovanni is the mens of the team. During his PhD at the Polytechnic School of Turin, with an experience at the University of Edinburgh, he has developed state of the art knowledge on wave energy and conversion systems. He is the ISWEC design expert and he manage multiple colleagues during the entire process. When he is not engaged in the analysis and optimization of ISWEC, he is certainly captured by his new book just arrived from Amazon.

Ing. Ermanno Giorcelli, R&D Mechanics
Ermanno is the modeling expert of W4E. Whether you have to model the dynamic of an advanced mechanical system or to analyze the interactions among waves and a buoyant system, he has the answer. When you can't find Ermanno in his office, he is probably in the lab turning or milling some broken components on his own. Together with Giuliana and Giovanni he was part of the core unit which started studying wave energy opportunities in 2005.

Prof. Davide Poggi, R&D Hydraulics
Davide is the water-man. He is a Professor at the Polytechnic School of Turin, in the Department of Hydraulics and Transports. Over a multinational experience (he was a post-doc at Duke University), Davide has developed a prominent expertise on wave dynamics and interactions with external bodies. He has been the designer and builder of the buoyant hulls supporting ISWEC. When he is over with W4E and academic duties, you can find Davide sailing together with Giuliana.
